Comic Sketch & Ink, 2025
Since middle school, I've always had the idea of making my own comic or graphic novel and fulfilled that dream in my Comics in the Margins class in my senior year of university. Liminal Spaces is a short story based on the Internet craze of mysterious photographs of "liminal spaces" that feel eerily nostalgic (the most famous being the "backrooms"). I thought of playing "dollhouse" with these spaces: I wanted to create a cast of characters to insert into the Space and would explore and solve puzzles. But the twist is that it only happens in a dream state, not in real life. 
This is one of the biggest projects I've done entirely in ink with brushes and pens and I truly enjoyed the process of sketching facial expressions, practicing washes and fine line inking, and carefully lettering which you can see sneak peaks of below:
