Making holiday cards has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I've always been inspired by the cards I'd see while holiday shopping or simply picking up groceries at the store. Once I saw San Francisco themed cards at my local bookstore, I knew that I just had to jump in with my own designs. While many cards tend to emphasize the typography more or use less scenic imagery (for example, featuring only one subject like a snowman or a reindeer), I wanted my cards to feel very personalized and stay true to my cozy and fuzzy illustration style. Each card tells a story — whether its a ballerina and rabbits hopping in the snow or seeing the parol lanterns light up — and they share a universal message of spreading holiday warmth and cheer.
